I brought in my beloved 1973 2002Tii, Vern, in for a no start condition, brake work, new K-fisch belt, and all systems checked and fluids changed. Knowing the distances I drive Vern the staff went above and beyond to make sure Vern is safe and reliable. The staff kept me informed of the progress and what they had found during the extensive to do list I hed left with them. The no start condition was found to be an unnecssary relay in the starting circuit that had failed. Voit and staff went through and cleaned up Vern's wiring and modified his battery tray to accept and hold a new 26R battery. When I picked up Vern Voit personally went over the work performed, and explained what was done and why. Vern was gleaming in the garage all freshly washed and ready to go. As I paid the invoice Vern was brought around and parked under the awning. Autowerkes does exceptional work and is the place for knowledgeable and exceptional service for my vintage and modern BMWs.

Great experience, personalized service. Had the failed Bosch starter fixed on my 1973 BMW 3.0 CSi and the repair was completely covered by Bosch. The other work performed discovered the car was missing an essential part in the oil system, which was installed.The staff is friendly, couteous and keept me well informed of the problems and progress on the car.

The Autowerkes staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating; even though they determined my car needed additional work, they were able to complete the work over the course of the day and provided me with a loaner. They explained the procedures thoroughly and kept costs to a minimum, and I felt I could trust their recommendations.

i am completely satisfied with the service I received at Autowerkes Maine. It is very hard to find qualified people to work on my 1956 Porsche, and I feel very comfortable in their doing so. They have also been willing to keep the car inside if it is there overnight, which is a source of comfort to me.

As a long time Mercedes dealership customer, I can say Autowerkes is a breath of fresh air.These people provide top quality service, with a very professional attitude, yet their prices are lower. They were very careful to not do unnecessary things even though I had asked for then to be done, in order to save me from needlessly spending money.Greatly appreciated, I will return a needed.
